Subject Line: Art Commission

Text Line: Describe what kind of commission you have in mind.

For example: Full Body Human with a Big Sword and a Tranquil Park as a background.

Example 2: eBook Cover, with One Magic Item, Title: XXXXXXXX.

Use as many words as you can to describe the character(s), pose(s), hair color/style, additional items, and background as you can. If you have a preferred color scheme, or special wishes, add them there too.

Link minimum one reference image to the email that describes what you have in mind. It is better to send too many than too little, because they help me visualize what you really need from the commission.

You will be replied within 5 business days (MON-FRI) whether hiisikoloART takes on your commission and adds it to the queue!

Commissioning Process

Four easy steps to commission art from hiisikoloART!

Email consultation goes through what the customer needs, the cost of the commission, how long the commission will take, and when the work takes place in the queue.

Once all is agree, the client receives a Paypal invoice for either full price of the project, or non-refundable deposit (in case of larger commissions). Book Cover commissions also include a Book Cover Contract which covers merchandise, and printing rights.

Step 1: Free Consultation

Step 2: Beginning

Once the customer's spot comes around, and they have covered either the full payment, or the non-refundable deposit, the client receives an email that their turn has come. Within 5 work days (MON-FRI) the client receives the first sketch for approval.

When that sketch is approved, the customer gets 3 thumbnail sketches within 5 work days (MON-FRI) based on the first sketch. The thumbnails display possible fonts, and illustration composition. Based on client's desires, the final sketch is compiled from the thumbnails.

Customer gets to see base colors filled into their final sketch which kickstarts the illustration work - this stage may take a long time depending on the commission, but the client will be informed of any delays, issues, need of additional info no matter of the pack the client has purchased. Luminous Pack clients also receive their weekly updates.

If client has anything they wish to talk about regarding the commission, they may email anytime and receive and answer in timely manner (MON-FRI).

Customer receives "Final Revision" - a watermarked version of the commission which then will be honed as per the clients wishes for small polishing.

Clients who only paid the non-refundable deposit in the beginning must have paid the full price by this stage, or they will not receive the finished piece. Only when the price is paid, the client gets their commission returned via secure WeTransfer email link.

With the email is also a link to review the commission and the process in Google Forms, if the client whishes to leave any feedback - which can also be left to hiisikoloART facebook page, or simply in email format.

After client has received and accepted the final work, no changes will be done without additional fee. The acceptance cannot be stretched beyond the agreed timeframe, or reasonable time agreed in a signed contract in case of Book Cover Commissions.

Each commission is different and the true price depends on the buyers wishes in style, complexity, and possible added extras like items, people, NSFW, or other visuals.

Upon purchase, you agree to pay the full price of the painting, and the price is non-refundable.

You have the rights to share the art in your personal things and crediting the artist is highly encouraged.

You do not have the rights to distribute, copy, or sell the art unless agreed otherwise within a contract emailed, and signed, to you by hiisikoloART, and an additional fee for extended rights has been purchased and paid.

NONE OF THE HIISIKOLOART PIECES CAN BE USED IN AN AI GENERATOR - buying a commission does not grant anyone a right to add, copy, alter, or put the piece to be altered by third party, or AI generator of any kind. You cannot purchase this right either.

In larger orders, you can have an option for part payment or front deposit payment, in which case you receive the final product only after the full price has been paid. In commercial use pieces, there will also be a contract that will be signed by both hiisikoloART and the customer/company.

hiisikoloART will not create covers or do commissions for hateful content that is against the Human Rights Act of 1998, nor will it support pedophilia, zoophilia, nazisim in any of its forms, racism, ableism, or any extremist views.

HiisikoloART DOES NOT support AI generators, DOES NOT use AI generators, or sell art to be used anyone who plans to use AI generators to generate art to be sold, distributed, or profited from.

hiisikoloART operates under the laws of Finland and pays tax to Finland so the tax % counted into the price follows the ALV of Finland and can't be lowered. Also, hiisikoloART does not participate in anything that could be considered illegal by the Finnish Judicial System.

hiisikoloART will save all the information given during email consultations in order to create the work, and can refuse service if the consultation breaks any parts of their contract, moral rules, or sees that the work is beyond their ability, or finds that something shady is going on. If something criminal is being asked of hiisikoloART, they will see it their civil responsibility to inform the needed authorities.

hiisikoloART will always keep their customers privacy, safety, and quality of service as their number one goal. No-one else will see commission emails, and harassment will not be tolerated on any of hiisikoloART's channels of business. hiisikoloART is a safe place for you to purchase and buy art. Always.

Your commission may be proudly displayed in hiisikoloART's work gallery, and additional social media channels, unless customer has purchased exclusive extended rights over the work, but even in such cases hiisikoloART remains as the artist and customer may not claim the piece as their own, or ever use it to re-distribute it an AI generator, or alter the piece in any way.

Sharing of NSFW pieces will be discussed with the customer and shared only in appropriate channels for such displays, like FurrAffinity, or Subscribers Only content in Ko-fi.
